DescriptionIn this modern day and age of smartphones, we are totally dependent on them to get our tasks and work done! So it is essential that we get the right smartphone that will truly help us in our day to day lives while providing us with endless entertainment opportunities! For this we present to you the ZUK Z1. For the ZUK Z1 Lenovo chose the tried and true Snapdragon 801 chipset. Once a flagship chip, it offered great performance with good battery life, though things in the high end have progressed since last year. In Z1's price range, however, it's mostly octa-core processors based on Cortex-A53 and low-power GPUs. Plus, the ZUK has 3GB of RAM, more than most of its competition. Overall, we're quite satisfied with the ZUK Z1 equipment. The ZUK team partnered with Cyanogen for the software on the international Z1. It's based on Cyanogen Mod, which itself is fairly close to stock Android. It's not Cyanogen Mod though, instead it's Cyanogen OS. The difference is mainly that Cyanogen and ZUK added a couple of proprietary apps to the software package. And of course, Cyanogen OS is Google-certified, meaning you get Google Play Services out of the box.
